Mark began learning about business operations early in life, spending his off days from grade school working in the family office equipment business. During his high school and college years, he furthered his entrepreneurial endeavors working as an ice cream scooper at Baskin-Robbins, a disc jockey and bartender. This early business exposure created a foundation which uniquely positions Mark to advise owners and buyers as a Business Opportunity Specialist with the Amerivest Group.

Over his 17-year post college career, Mark has developed a successful track record of closing complex business and real estate transactions. He is a high energy, detail oriented, problem solver with superior quantitative and negotiation skills. Prior to joining the Amerivest Group, Mark held middle level and senior positions with private and institutional investment, advisory and financial firms in acquisition, disposition, financing and management capacities. He has been involved in transactions valued in excess of $2.5 billion.
Originally from Montreal, Mark earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management from Concordia University and a Master’s Degree from the Schack Real Estate Institute at New York University. In addition to his academic credentials, Mark is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker, holds a NASD Series 7 Securities license and has achieved the prestigious Office Specialist designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He is currently pursuing his Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association.
Mark has been quoted in numerous articles and has been featured in Commercial Property News for “Creative Lending Solutions for Hard-to-Finance Deals” and The South Florida Business Journal’s “Heavy Hitters in Commercial Real Estate”. When not spending time with his wife and boy-girl twins at their Delray Beach home, Mark is an avid hockey player, coin-operated antique collector and is involved in various charitable organizations.
